Weekly Ponderings 10 (NEW)

Friday 20 March 2015

This week I was excited about...

Having a short break from the blog. This is the first time I've sat down at my laptop to write in seven days, which means it's been two whole weeks since I wrote one of these weekly round-up posts. I'm not going to lie, I enjoyed it a lot! It's allowed me to get so much admin, lifemin and wedmin done, as well as giving me the opportunity to spend a few quality evenings with Rich.

But now I'm back with a vengeance (and a huge backload of blogposts to write up) and I'm looking forward to getting cracking once more!

This week I was reminded...

Just how brilliant my mum is as she helped us to sort out heaps more things for the wedding...And naughtily got out her bank card to pay for these things a few more times than I was comfortable with. Bad mummy! I wish I had been with you on Mother's Day Mummy Bags, love you!

This week I appreciated...

Finally getting the opportunity to properly sit down with Rich and put our honeymoon plan into action. We're now booked into four of the most beautiful hotels in Italy on the Amalfi Coast, and we have organised short stops in both Rome and Naples en route. Excited much?!

Sharing some rather delicious food and laughs at the Radisson Blu when the Laughter Factory came to town.

A second 'staycation' just down the road from us in Doha. Look out for a post on this early next week!

Quote of the week...

What do you think of my new Instagram format for these posts? & do drop me a note below to tell me all about your plans this weekend! Wherever you are in the world, I hope it's a sunny one.

  1. Love the Instagram format! I have to say I took some inspiration from you and have also had some time off from the blog - feeling great and ready to get back to it next week :)

Hope you're having a great weekend!

    1. Thanks Lauren, glad you like it! The break really works doesn't it? I'd just got so overloaded with everything that I hadn't properly switched off for weeks. I feel like I've been on holiday! Look forward to seeing your posts next week.
