Our Honeymoon: Sorrento Day Trip Photo Diary and Vlog

Saturday, 27 February 2016

We were so sad to leave our little Amalfi Coast home of Casa Angelina in Praiano. However, a brand new hotel was calling.

Before we headed there however, we spent a day in the city of Sorrento, the highlight of which was drinks and nibbles at Terrace Bosquet, the gorgeous al fresco Michelin star restaurant at the Grand Hotel Excelsior Vittoria. The restaurant boasts sweeping vistas over the Mediterranean and Mount Vesuvius beyond, live piano music and one of the best vantage points in the whole of Italy from which to watch the sun set.

Come with us on our journey, starting from Casa Angelina, travelling along the coastline to Sorrento and back to the hotel again just one last time.

Next up on our itinerary was a short stay at the iconic Monastero Santa Rosa, and I think it's safe to say that we were pretty excited about this one...

    1. Thank you Shikha! I will pass on your compliments on the video to Mr Sunshine as he made it. Very handy having a TV producer for a husband sometimes ;-)

  7. All of the places in Amalfi look dreamy! Which one would you recommend using as a base to explore the other places?
