This week I was excited about...


A surprise birthday weekend away for Mr Sunshine-to-be to...(drumroll)... Oman! You can read all about the hotel we stayed at here and there will be another post about all the other things we got up to in Muscat next week. Here are the highlights:

A not so chilled evening with friends, watching Mark Ronson DJ until 3am in the beautiful gardens of the Sheraton Doha next to the Persian Gulf.



Writing another guest post - this time for The Lifestyle Diaries. Taking over someone else's blog for the day can be a lot of fun, and I urge all of you bloggers to give it a go at some point!

    I love your weekly ponderings posts! Always such a nice way to remember what you've done in a week. Im very envious of both of those pools - in Muscat and at home!! lucky lady!

      Thanks my love! I have a notoriously terrible memory so I am looking forward to going back through all of these in a year's time and being like, "I don't remember doing THAT!!". I do love my home pool rather a lot. I'm currently making the most of it before it gets too hot to go outside and enjoy it. Hope you're having a great weekend lovely.

      It was wonderful! Mark Ronson was sooo good! He played a lot of old school stuff, and also played Uptown Funk twice which I was very happy about. Are you a fan? Happy Sunday lady!!

      The Chedi is such an amazing hotel, I haven't seen anything quite like it before! Will be popping up a post early next week about it so look out for it :-) Hahaha, my sentiments exactly about the tin. I think I'm going to make myself one!! Hope you're having a good weekend.
