This week I was excited about...
Enjoying my last full day with Lottie in a very special spot: Sharq Village and Spa by Ritz Carlton where Rich and I got engaged. We spent a whole day eating, lounging, swimming, chilling and chatting; the perfect way to spend a Saturday with my best friend and husband to be by my side.
This week I was reminded...
How close we are to our wedding day as I put the finishing touches to some final wedmin bits!
This week I appreciated...
Some truly excellent food at three very distinct restaurants (blog posts to follow soon!).
Quote of the week...
I hope you've all had a great week, and that the sun is shining in time for the weekend!
With the final countdown really upon us, I've got some very exciting wedding-related posts coming up for you over the next few weeks, which I hope you're going to enjoy as much as I'm enjoying writing them! Just five weeks to go, it's SO SOON NOW!!!
I love the inspirational quote at the end!

I'm so glad you placed Rich beside you on the seating plan Polly ;-) And that's one motto that I always live by xx
ReplyDeleteHaha, I thought we should probably try to begin our married life on the right foot! Good stuff - it is a great metaphor for how to live life in general I think! :-)

Oh my... table plans... possibly the worst part of the wedding. Fun at first - then take account of divorces, exes in the room, splitting up the biggest and rowdiest drinkers... I made all the place names then spent a few evenings with them laid out on the living room floor moving them round in circles... then the late changes and the replacement invites... Oh my goodness! Wishing you much luck on a smooth time of it!
ReplyDeleteI am SO GLAD you can empathise - this has been the bain of my life for weeks and weeks! I've taken a slightly different strategy to you - the biggest and rowdiest drinkers are all together in one corner...have I made a terrible mistake?!!!

Five weeks how exciting. Drawing up a table plan is always a nightmare so good that you have it done. The desserts look wonderful I can see how they were a highlight Lucy x
