This week I was excited about...
The fact that it is officially now less than a month until I marry the man of my dreams (if you follow me on Twitter or Facebook, you have probably already have guessed this would crop up. I may have banged on about it a little bit on Thursday!). In the build-up to the big day, I'll be writing a series of wedding-themed posts, so keep an eye out for them. You can find the very first one here.
This week I was reminded...
Just how many nationalities make up our lovely team at work, when we were all invited to bring in a home made local dish from our country for lunch. From Iraqi to Lebanese, Australian to Italian, it was a feast fit for a king (or a food blogger).
This week I appreciated...
A special guest appearance in Qatar's top lifestyle magazine, Ahlan!
Looking back over photos of my day on the sea with my favourite Doha ladies.
Making the most of the final week before Ramadan descends and it becomes far too hot to go outside.
Your input into my latest quandry! Thanks for the helpful tips and opinions. I still haven't quite made my mind up so I think I will leave it until after the honeymoon and if I'm still keen then, I'll take the plunge!

I'm still very excited about your appearance in the magazine! Personally I'm not a big fan of tattoos, but if you love it, that's what's most important.

I am really excited about it too...and I think I'm in Grazia ME this month too! It's much easier to get in magazines out here though. I have never been a fan either, I blame a fellow blogger out here who was talking about their tattoos at a meet-up who inspired me. In the words of my mum, it's probably a 'phase'!

Ooh not long now how exciting. The food feast at work looks amazing a talented bunch of cooks. Well done on your feature in a magazine really cool. Lucy x
ReplyDeleteThanks lovely! The food feast was UH-mazing - I couldn't believe how many creative cooks came out the woodwork! We're going to make it a more regular thing I think :-)
