This week I was invited by the lovely ladies of Lush Doha on behalf of Funky Qatar Blog to visit their store in Landmark Mall to have a peruse of their Valentine's collection and to understand a little more about the 'Lush philosophy'...one which is very much akin to the message of Valentine's Day: advocating love, respect and nourishment.
Exclaiming at the unusual products that I didn't realise existed, such as the multi-use make-up...
And the variety of face creams and cleansers made from different natural products.
Eiman, Delia and the rest of the team at Lush Doha were so welcoming and helpful, and I was rather taken aback by their in-depth knowledge of the extensive collection.
After sticking my nose in more than a few containers and enjoying a demonstration of the multi-coloured fizzy bath bombs...
I left with mu arms full of lovely goodies, ready to get testing.
The new Tisty Tosty is in the shape of a love heart, smells like romance and is made from fresh flowers.
The gorgeously scented lipbalms leave your lips silky-smooth, slightly tinted and ever so kissable.
The Twilight Ball (left) turns your bath into a rainbow, and the Butterball (right) smells of vanilla and honey. Both of them leave you feeling relaxed and smelling fragrant ready for a night on the town.
The gifts contain a variety of thoughtful themed cosmetics in stunning packaging, making perfect presents for loved ones.
Well, I will have to let you know after this has been trialled! But it smells good enough to eat.
In the spirit of Valentine's Day, the ladies at Lush kindly gifted me a few tester pots to try out.
I can't wait to let you know how I get on with these in due course.
In the meantime, I've popped on some 'It Started With A Kiss' lipbalm, and I'm ready to head out for a romantic, s-Lushy day (sorry, couldn't help myself!) with my loved one.
Have you visited Lush Doha? What beauty products are you using this Valentine's Day?
I was a guest of Lush Doha and Funky Qatar Blog this time, but most of the items photographed above were purchased myself. Head over to Funky Qatar Blog to view my original post, and to read other Qatar-based reviews and interviews.
I love Lush bath bombs! I have quite a few for those chilly winter nights!
ReplyDeleteOoo, there's nothing better than a Lush bath on a blustery English evening is there?! Didn't think I would, but I still love a Lush bath out here in the desert though!

I sometimes just wander into Lush just to smell things.... did I just take this to a weird place? Nevermind, it's a fantastic way to pass the time...
ReplyDeleteHaha, it's so funny you should say that, but I almost started this post by saying you could locate the shop in this gigantic shopping mall by the smell alone! I LOVE the smell of everything in that shop, absolutely nothing to be ashamed of #lushsniffersanonymous

I do like the Lush bathbombs and the fact that their face creams are so fresh that you keep them in the fridge!

There need to be more places like that! What on earth is in these creams that you can keep on the shelf for years anyway?! Give me fresh, natural cosmetics any day :-)
